Recipe 4: Breakfast of champignons

After starting paleo diet, one of the major challenges for me was to learn what to have for a breakfast. This is the healthier version of the breakfast of the champions. For me, this one makes perfect one for the weekend. It is quick and nourishing.


  • 500 g of fine champignons (prefer local)
  • 2 large oninons
  • 20 g of butter
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • parsley
  • rosemary
  • pinch of salt


Wash champignons and split it in halves. Slice onion to small pieces and fry it on butter and oil slightly, add the mushrooms and herbs after while and continue frying until done.
