Recipe 13: Hot turkey legs a la Prehistorik

I have found some perfect paleo looker. This one looks really very paleo. Meat and bone, pure style. Those huge turkey legs remind me of good old Prehistorik game that I had been enjoying some 15 years ago, with its impressive collection of food.

Turkey is a nice animal, really fancy one. But it is also truly gigantic! With legs, you can get most of its goodness without need to cook the whole monster. Saves you lot of time and resources. I have decided to leave out salt from this recipe as I need to decreace sodium intake in order to prevent negative effects of prednisone which I am still having as a dessert. But for those healthy ones out there - add some.

  • 4 turkey legs
  • coriander
  • chilli
  • garlic
  • ghee or butter
  • salt

Put the legs into convenient baking dish and toss with fat. I went with ghee as I have just received one from Germany (my first one). Then prepare all the spices. Grind coriander with garlic and chillies in ratio that you can handle. Cover all the legs in the grinded spices properly and let them bake for 90 minutes at 180 °C.

As a side dish, I would recommend some vegetable stir fry. Plus chilled beer.
